Summer’s the perfect time to give yourself a little Do-It-Yourself at home pampering. Let’s face it gals, we work hard and we don’t always take the time to take a breath let alone attend a day spa for a little r&r.
Here are five of my favorite DIY homemade beauty recipes that will have your skin feeling smooth, soft, and smelling sweet in no time. So take stock of your kitchen pantry, light some candles and some incense, and get ready to get gorgeous! Enjoy!
- Easy Brown Sugar Lip Scrub
- Fantastic Honey-Yogurt Mask
- Coconut Brown Sugar Body Scrub
- Honey-Oatmeal Mask
- DIY Bronzer/Face Powder
What’s your favorite homemade beauty item?

I LOVE finding new bath and body recipes. I make my own soap, lotion, scrubs and lip balm. I love using things like coconut oil, shea butter and essential oils. You can make some really luxurious products without any nasty chemicals. These masks sounds yummy!

I love putting honey on my face. You wouldn’t think that it does anything, but my skin always feels so soft afterwards.
