I’m a big water drinker, but sometimes I can’t resist the ice cold carbonated burn that only a soda can give.
I’m kind of a health nut now that I’m an adult, so I don’t drink the sodas I grew up drinking – Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper…, and now that I have kids, I’m pretty picky about the foods and drinks they consume.
A Natural Alternative
I started buying Hansen’s Natural Cane Sodas a few months ago as an alternative to the high fructose corn syrup, aspartame containing commercial sodas on the market. I don’t want anything to do with the stuff in the usual big brands, and since I know my kids won’t skip the sodas like I do, I wanted to offer them something I could feel comfortable giving them.
Hansen’s Natural Cane Sodas contain pronounceable ingredients, things like triple filtered water and natural cane sugar, and don’t have any of the things I don’t want myself or my family to consume. We’ve tried many of their flavors and haven’t been disappointed with any of them. I love the Cherry Vanilla Creme, Raspberry, and especially the Pomegranate. My kids like them all, even the diet Root Beer my husband picked up by accident.
With so many great flavors to choose from, it’s pretty easy to kiss that high fructose corn syrup and aspartame goodbye!

I don’t drink soda any more either (although my hubby and kids do). I think the Hansen products taste pretty good. Izze is another brand that I’d recommend.
Stopping by from SITS. Happy Labor Day!

Hi City Mouse,
Isn’t it nice not to worry about funky ingredients? Hansen’s are a great alternative, and Izze’s are another one of our favorites too. I’m grateful we have healthier alternatives to choose from, especially since I know my kids won’t skip the fizzy treat.

I also kicked the soda habit some time ago and do seltzer sometimes… but these look like great alternatives as well. Thanks! Happy SITS Saturdafy Sharefest!

Thanks Charlene,
Hansen’s sodas are a good alternative when you can’t beat that soda craving. I don’t feel guilty when I indulge in a Hansen’s.
