Himalayan Glaciers Melting Faster Than Anywhere Else in World; Impact Could Devastate Over 1 Billion People.

Concerned about the rate at which the planet’s glaciers are melting?  Well, you should be.  Think this fact won’t affect you?  Think again.  Everything that happens to the planet will ultimately have an affect upon everyone on it – our food supply, the weather, water…everything.  We’ve got to make every effort to prepare ourselves for the changes that are going to inevitably occur.  Peace. ;)

Think it’s hot now?  It may be getting even hotter in the future – not a good thing.  Maybe we should begin buying stocks in sunblock, air conditioning, and water – we’re certainly going to need it if the science is correct.  What a bummer…  Give this Democracy Now! interview a listen.  Peace. ;)

A Debate on Geoengineering: Vandana Shiva vs. Gwynne Dyer.

This is an excellent debate on geoengineering and climate change.  I highly recommend watching it.  Whether or not you’re in agreement with the concept of climate change, this is definitely a subject that is not going to go away.  Climate change, real or not (I do believe our climate is definitely changing), is most certainly impacting every single person on this planet.  It really is a topic we all need to educate ourselves about.  Peace. ;)

Gwynne Dyer on “Climate Wars: The Fight for Survival as the World Overheats”.

Climate change is a very touchy subject, and the debate continues.  Is it real?  What can we do?  Is there any hope?

Watch this this interesting interview with Gwynne Dyer on Democracy Now!.  What do you think about climate change?
