Actress and Cancer Survivor Fran Drescher Speaks Out in Support of New Bill Seeking Stricter Cosmetics Rules.

Interesting, and very informative interview with Fran Drescher on Democracy Now!.  She speaks out in favor of the new Safe Cosmetics Bill of 2010.

This bill is something consumers need to have.  Everyone deserves the right to know what ingredients and chemicals are in the products they are using, especially when so many of the products on the market today contain ingredients that are know carcinogens, skin irritants, and hormone disrupters.  Is it any wonder why so many Americans are sick?  Think about all of the products you use on a daily basis – lotions, perfumes, shampoos, lipstick…  How many different hazardous chemicals are you exposing yourself to everyday?  Now think about how you feel.  Do you get headaches?  Have hormonal imbalances?  Weight gain?  What you’re using may be contributing, if not the cause for your health issues.  I cannot say this enough, but everyone needs to educate themselves as to the products they use.
